Are you getting not so great news but also in the conclusion things turned out well or much better than you anticipated? Have you ever received very good news and over time what you thought was good news ended up being not too good?
From personal experience We can tell you that I have observed all -
Great news that's good.
Bad news that was bad.
Good news that we thought was good but turned into bad.
Not so good news which i thought was bad and became good.
Confused yet? Well I realize that over time I used to be often unclear about the main difference between these two apparent opposite messages. However I found that sometimes not so good news first person might be perceived as great news for someone else which nice thing about it to at least one person after a while may be viewed as bad.
Confused? Let me explain.
Ultimately it is simply news along with what causes it to be positive or negative or perhaps neutral isn't news itself but wait, how we perceive it, judge it, evaluate it or react because of it.
Just how do someone perceive bad news pretty much as good you could ask? Or the opposite, how could someone perceive very good news badly?
In short - each of us carries a unique history, experiences, beliefs and values and consequently no one ever start to see the same or circumstance in the same way.
Somebody who is a worrier, negative, pessimistic or impatient might view a delay as bad when another person who understands the thought of you can find things we are able to control and there are things we can not control so just why get all upset about something you can't control or you can control it outside, hurry up.
In the long run precisely what happens - just happens and just what perform is interpret it all based on our expectations, goals, needs or mindsets causing all of they are unique for every people.

Prior to staring my speaking and training career I used to be a national sales leader with an international organization. Well, minus the gruesome details, their bond was gradually eroding my self-esteem, confidence and optimistic mindset i decided that we didn't like who I became becoming in this relationship. We parted, amicably - but we parted. Great news while i was able - as time passes - to regain all I had created lost - emotionally and spiritually.
Everybody has their stories so we all can cause lists of excellent news and not so great news we've received but also in the finish means that just news.
During a few of my corporate programs I share this simple concept - stop asking the employees for good news or not so good news - just request good news and you then decide which it really is. Since their definition may be completely different than yours.
And the other way round - as a possible executive or manager don't broadcast - I have good quality or not so good news - just inform your employees you have got some news and let each of them interpret becoming they think fit according to their personal viewpoints, attitudes, mindsets, experience, expectations and exactly how it could impact them personally.
